Pre procedure advice:
NO TREATMENTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON ANY CLIENTS WHO ARE/COULD BE PREGNANT OR BREAST FEEDING. PLEASE INFORM YOUR TECHNICIAN OF ANY MEDICATIONS OR MEDICAL ISSUES
We invite you to familiarise yourself with the following information prior to your treatment.
Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures.
The area may appear uneven, dry, itchy, tender, red & irritated. This is all 100% normal.
Do not pick the treated area.
These symptoms will change each day and vary on an individual basis.
Colour WILL fade/soften anywhere from 10% to 50% or more.
At the touch up we will fine tune any area that has faded too much. One retouch appointment is included in the price, extra re touched are chargeable.
Healing is specific to each client.
It is important to realize that you will need a colour boost every 1-2 yrs. to maintain its fresh natural appearance.
Due to the build-up of scar tissue, touch ups will not be done any sooner than 1 year unless the skin is really healthy.
If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-aging creams, retina/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural elements, regular chemical peels, or exercise frequently, and your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely.
The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.
As we age our skin changes, the permanent makeup WILL eventually look more powdered, this is universal with all permanent makeup procedures.
Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. Perfection is our goal, but note that nothing is PERFECT. We do not use the "P" word when doing Permanent Makeup.
COMMON CONTRA-INDICATIONS THAT PREVENT THE TREATMENT TAKING PLACE:
Pregnant or breastfeeding
Roacutane within the last year
Prior to your treatment:
If you’re going to be in the sun make sure the area we are going to treat is well protected, the tan will exfoliate taking colour with it has it fades & will also heal the pigment darker than expected. If you show up to your appointment with a TAN/SUNBURN, you will be required to reschedule and your deposit will be forfeited. The determination if you are too tanned will be up to our discretion.
Please exfoliate the area I will be working on the day before your treatment, particularly dry skin, so there’s a nice fresh base to work on.
Do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat expands the pores. It is recommended not to sweat (heavily) for the first 14 days after the procedure. Sweat is salt and WILL prematurely fade, blur or cause the pigment not to take at all.
Do NOT take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Coumadin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 48-72 hrs prior to your procedure. Paracetamol is fine.
Avoid alcohol or caffeine the day before & prior to the procedure, this will minimize any oozing/bleeding or swelling after the procedure.
Getting a procedure while on your menstrual cycle can make you hyper-sensitive at the procedure site.
As we will be penetrating the area. Please come to your appointment completely eye makeup free unless instructed.
Absolutely no children in the treatment room, or friends for moral support. My priority is your treatment and I really appreciate no distractions

Avoid sleeping on your face during the 1st 14 days after the procedure.
Plan on scheduling your touch-up within the 6 to 12 weeks for the re touch to be successful, as the pigment fades over time.
Certain skin types on a rare occasion may need a 3rd retouch, there will be charge for this.
No swimming until the area is completely healed, salt water/chlorine will cause the pigments to fade or change in colour. It is recommended to apply the Vaseline to the treated area/s prior to swimming after the brows have healed to prevent premature fading.
Brows are Sisters, NOT twins is used universally in this field.
If you like, you come to your appointment with your eyebrows pencilled the way you like them. Bring your coloured pencil of choice.

IF you have Severely Oily Skin, your results WILL appear softer (eyebrows can look more powdered instead of hair strokes).
You have to be off Accutane (acne medication) for 1 year. NO Exceptions!
Dark Skin types please note that your permanent makeup will not appear as bold as lighter skin types. (Indian, African American, Filipino, etc.) It will look more solid/powdered.
Hair strokes will appear crisp and bold in colour immediately after the procedure but both will soften as the skin tissue heals.
It’s very common for areas to fade more than others. This is a normal part of the healing process and will be treated at the recommended re touch appointment.
